Apache Buggies

These awesome buggies use a 750cc motorcycle engine, complete with its 6-speed sequential gearbox and clutch. Combine the power of this engine driving the rear wheels, with a reasonably light space-frame chassis, and you have a better power to weight ratio than most Porsche’s. Throw in some normal road tyres and a flat grass surface and you have a recipe for minimal grip and massive amounts of sideways fun.

With the drifting scene in the UK becoming popular, we have found that there is a huge demand for the opportunity for both novices and experienced drivers to “go sideways”, “get the back end out” and use opposite lock and drifting techniques. This will help to either gain the basic knowledge or improve on existing skills in a safe environment.

Our Apache Buggies are extremely powerful two seat vehicles that allow us to keep an instructor on board for the duration of sessions. If you’ve ever wanted to know what it feels like to slide a vehicle around at high speed like all the best rally drivers, then this is probably right up your street.
